Meet Fernando

The first step is a visit to my atelier in the heart of Prague, where we explore the shoe catalog and discuss your preferences. Together, we can customize details such as color combinations, toe shape, and design elements that make your shoes truly unique.

Next, I carefully measure your feet to determine the perfect last for a precise and comfortable fit. Within two to three weeks, we meet for the first trial fitting to refine size and details. Depending on the model and complexity, the entire shoemaking process typically takes a minimum of one month.

Every pair is crafted with a personal, handmade touch. My goal is simple: to create shoes that reflect your individuality while providing lasting comfort and beauty.

Love for the cowhide Vegetable-Tanned Leather
Vegetable-tanned leather is crafted using natural tannins extracted from trees and plants, transforming raw hide into a strong, durable material with unique character.

This leather ages gracefully, developing a rich patina that deepens with daily wear, making each pair truly one-of-a-kind. Choosing vegetable-tanned leather is a choice for sustainability, individuality, and timeless style.

Sustainably sourced and biodegradable at the end of its lifecycle, this natural material honors both craftsmanship and the environment.

Because the upper, lining, sole, and heels of my shoes are made entirely from genuine leather, they can be repaired by me or any skilled shoemaker worldwide. With proper care, your shoes will accompany you for many years, growing more beautiful with every step.

From the pattern, the leather sections will be cut and stitched together. This will create the upper part of the shoe. The upper will then be molded over the last to create your new shoes, and finally hand-stitched to the leather krupon sole and heels.

Explore my catalogue, leathers, colors, and details at my Prague atelier. Together, we shape a pair of shoes that is uniquely yours.

2. Precision Measurement
Your feet are measured and a custom last is selected for perfect fit and comfort.

3. Material Selection
Choose premium leathers, linings, soles, and threads. Every material is selected for beauty, durability, and individuality.

4. Handcrafting
Each cut, stitch, and finish is done by hand, shaping the upper over the last and hand-stitched to the leather sole. Making a work of art.

5. First Fitting
Try your shoes in the atelier. Fit and details are refined for comfort and style.

6. Final Touches
Polishing, burnishing, and inspection ensure each pair meets Fernando standards. Your shoes are ready to accompany you for years
