Meet Fernando
The journey begins with a visit to my atelier in the heart of Prague, where we explore the collection together and discuss your vision in detail. From color combinations and toe shapes to subtle design elements, every choice is tailored to create a pair of shoes that is uniquely yours.
I then take precise measurements of your feet to determine the ideal last, ensuring a fit that combines elegance with exceptional comfort. Within two to three weeks, we meet again for the first fitting, refining every detail until the shoes feel and look exactly as intended. Depending on the model and level of craftsmanship involved, the complete process typically takes a minimum of one month.
Each pair is handcrafted with patience, precision, and a deeply personal approach.
My goal is simple: to create shoes that reflect your individuality while offering enduring comfort, timeless beauty, and lasting quality.
The Materials
My commitment — to you and to the world — is to use premium top grain leather and carefully selected materials sourced from Italy, Spain, and the Czech Republic.
Vegetable-Tanned Leather
I work with vegetable-tanned leather, crafted using natural tannins extracted from trees and plants. This traditional process creates a strong, durable material with a rich and distinctive character.
Over time, the leather develops a beautiful patina, shaped by daily wear and unique to each pair. Choosing vegetable-tanned leather means choosing authenticity, sustainability, and timeless style.
Because the upper, lining, sole, and heels are made entirely from genuine leather, every pair can be repaired and restored by me or by skilled shoemakers around the world. With proper care, your shoes are made to accompany you for many years.
The
art

Shoemaking
From the pattern, the leather pieces are carefully cut and stitched to form the upper of the shoe. This upper is then shaped over the last to achieve its final form, before being hand-stitched to the leather krupon sole and heels.

Your feet are measured and a custom last is selected for perfect fit and comfort.
3. Material Selection
Choose premium leathers, linings, soles, and threads. Every material is selected for beauty, durability, and individuality.
4. Handcrafting
Each cut, stitch, and finish is done by hand, shaping the upper over the last and hand-stitched to the leather sole. Making a work of art.
5. First Fitting
Try your shoes in the atelier. Fit and details are refined for comfort and style.
6. Final Touches
Polishing, burnishing, and inspection ensure each pair meets Fernando standards. Your shoes are ready to accompany you for years
